Basics Bank thriving with donations
Volunteers are busy after a surge of donations has left Winchester Basics Bank looking for a new location to store items.
The charity, which provides emergency food and clothing, is hopeful of someone coming forward to help store the items.
Vice Chairman Graham Topping said that a “particularly generous harvest this year has led to having to find additional storage space on a short term basis.”
The Basics Bank project provided “15060 days of food” with “2770 clients using their service” last year according to the Winchester Basics Bank website.
