Simon Harmer is an ex British Medic who lost both his legs when an IED detonated beneath him less than a month into his deployment to Afghanistan in 2009. Many might let this hinder their lives but Simon has used his positive attitude, and brilliant sense of humour to enable him to recover in the most incredible way. This is his story.
