The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey have transformed into a Winter Wonderland filled with a diverse range of lights and animations throughout the garden thanks to the work of Light up Trails. The gardens, which are known for their diverse plant collections, have added a touch of enchantment to the experience for visitors to immerse themselves in the captivating experience.

Family and friends wandered through the gardens to embark on the journey through these illuminated trails, where there was a new spectacle on every turn.

Co-founder of Light up Trails, Lucinda Croft said: “We’re so excited to be here, we’ve got loads of new things to show, it’s so nice when you’ve been planning something for so long to see how people interact with them.”

Lucinda Croft also spoke on what the location meant for her, “We get to come all through the year and see the seasons of the Hillier Gardens, it’s such a beautiful location.”

Walkers of the trail described the experience as, “Pure magic, Pretty and Beautiful.”

There is hot, seasonal food available halfway through the trail, with the likes of Hog Roast and Loaded fries along with sweeter treats like crepes and churros for everyone to enjoy.

The Sir Harold Hillier gardens will be shining all throughout the Christmas period this year, so there is plenty of time to witness nature’s beauty in a new light.
