New ice rink ‘SKATE’ opens in Southampton
Winter has arrived in Southampton as a new ice rink opens on the lead up to Christmas.
Families gathered last weekend to experience SKATE, which opened on 11th November and will be open until 2nd January 2018.
Having not had an ice rink before, Southampton’s Head Office said: “Our opening weekend was very popular” and urged people to get tickets before they sell out. Tickets are available online or at the Rink with a student price of £10.
The 740sq metre ice rink is located at the old Town wall near WestQuay Shopping Centre and will be available for the pubic from 10:30am – 10:00pm, not including Christmas Day.
