Students offered prizes and free pizza instead of Halloween parties
Students are being tempted with prizes and free pizzas to encourage them stay at home and not attend Halloween parties.
The University of Winchester is offering prizes, such a Winchester themed Monopoly board, to the flat or house with the best Halloween themed decorations in order to make the festival Covid safe.
The houses and flats, all managed by the university, will be judged by residential assistants who told Winol that they were looking for “something unique and different”.
They later said “we have had a crime scene set up from one team which was quite good”.
But the university has warned students that anything deemed offensive within the decorations of will be removed and are reminded not to damaged the properties while decorating.
