With the international break over, club football is back: let’s see the results.

Starting in the Premier League, Southampton hosted Liverpool in a back and forth game that saw Southampton in the drivers seat for most of the match, however Mohammad Salah had other ideas, putting his Reds ahead with a brace to seal the game 3-2.

The Southampton Women’s side could do what the men couldn’t grabbing all three points after thrashing Portsmouth 4-0 with Emma Thompson grabbing a hat trick.

Aldershot town took on Altrincham in a feisty affair of a match, Aldershot led 2-0 after 30 minutes with a red card from Altrincham’s Tom Crawford almost sealing the deal in the 78th minute. A last push attempt was made by Altrincham but the final minute goal from Jake Bickerstaff wasn’t enough to grab the point.

Basingstoke town went up against Tiverton in the Southern League. The game was level up until the 81st minute where Tiverton’s J.Parker put them infront, inspiring a 96th minute goal from Kai Churchley to really seal the deal.

A 7 goal thriller between Franborough and Weston-super-Mare also happened this weekend, with the game ending 4-3 in favour of the home side.

Hartley Wintney comfortably defeated Southall in the Non League Division One winning 2-0.

And finally Winchester City suffered defeat against Havant & Waterlooville, with the scoreline ending 3-1.
