Joel Silver in Maplewood, New Jersey developed at a high school with it being an officially recognised sport in 2008.

Its fast pace makes a brilliant, high adrenaline exercise that allows all ages , genders and ability to take part all together.

Not only does its diversity make the game stand out from the crowd but it also includes having no referees, non-contact and is instead controlled by the players.

One of the similar games to Ultimate is American football and Basketball with its non movement with the frisbee and scoring at the opposite side.

With blocking techniques and precise throwing it makes it a very hands on activity.

This game would work perfectly with the event with its modern and inclusive game for all to play allows it be a sport to interest many generations of all ages.

For many in the Winchester team this is a great way to get fit and meet friends with its welcoming community of passionate frisbee fans.

Kestrels the university team will be attending the Cobra Cup Tournament in Chichester on the 16th March as well as three upcoming events with the South West Ultimate Developing league.

This not only allows the team to engage with other teams but provides themselves greater recognition.
