Hampshire lottery winner claims last minute £1m prize
A lottery winner from Havant has claimed their £1 million prize just hours before the deadline.
The mystery ticket holder had until yesterday to come forward after their numbers were drawn in May.
Had the money not been claimed, the prize would have gone towards National Lottery projects.
There are currently 27 unclaimed National Lottery prizes in the UK, ranging from £50,000 to other million-pound winnings.
Southampton-based Geoff and Judith Coombes were the last high-profile individuals to become Hampshire millionaires.
