Taylor, originally from Sussex, made an impressive debut for the Vipers whilst still in the Academy set up and helped them to an easy six wicket win in 2022. After this promising debut Taylor went onto to play 17 times for the club across the 2023 season.

She said: “My proudest achievement would be debuting for Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.”

She hopes she can go on to play in as many matches as possible in the upcoming season and help win lots of matches in her first full senior season with the team.

Taylor knew from a young age that she wanted to play cricket professionally. She said: “I played a lot of hockey and cricket when i was younger but I decided I wanted to play cricket professionally at 12-13 when the pathway was really just beginning for me at Sussex.”

Taylor hopes that one day internationals will be on the cards for her maybe not just yet but is definitely something she is aiming towards in the future.
